Since she was a young girl Amanda dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. She completed the required undergraduate program at the University of Alberta before travelling to Perth, Australia where she obtained her Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. Despite the sunny weather and beautiful beaches in Australia, Amanda decided to come back home to Edmonton and began working as a veterinarian in December 2008. Between 2008 and 2015 Amanda gained valuable experience working in various small animal veterinary clinics in both Edmonton and St. Albert.  In 2015 Amanda opened Granville Veterinary Clinic.

Amanda has two dogs, Jet & Trapper, and a mischievous cat named Wabby, who all keep her busy in her spare time. As well, Amanda plays ringette in the winter and keeps busy gardening in the summer.

Kylie has worked in the vet industry for many years, though after taking some time off to go to school to be a Fitness Trainer, she couldn't resist coming back into the field to do what she loves most, helping animals!

When Kylie is not working hard to make sure everything in the front end run is smoothly, you will find her in the back of the clinic assisting the techs and vets with anything she can.

She is more than just the face that welcomes you! Sarah graduated from MacEwan University with a degree in Business Commerce. While she has always had family pets in her life, she only recently found her passion for animal care this year.

She strives in challenging environments and if you can’t find her, follow the smell of Mr. Clean. She loves jumping in to assist the vets in any way she can. Sarah may be small, but she is mighty.

She recently welcomed a sweet and playful bernedoodle, which she lovingly named Bailey.

In her spare time you can see them playing fetch, going for long walks, and practicing their downward dogs.

She can’t wait to greet you and your furry friends on your next visit to the clinic!

Tony - Clinic Cat

Tony.JPG

Tony was surrendered to the clinic in Sept 2016. He was supposed to be re-homed but he quickly found his way into our hearts and now takes up permanent residence at Granville. Tony enjoys sleeping on his cat tree, teasing dogs, trying to sneak into exam rooms when he is not supposed to and trying to steal treats.

Tony is forever trying to find another cat that will be his friend and not hiss at him. Sadly, this has yet to happen.

Tony loves people and enjoys his cheeks and face being scratched - but do not let him fool you, he does not like his belly rubbed!!
